“We had a house fire in October of 2017. There was no structural damage, but the smoke damage was unbelievable and quite devastating. Not wanting to alarm anyone, we went to the internet to find a restoration company, thinking in a couple of weeks, things would be back to normal. We went with the first company that showed up which happened to be from the Burlington area. The representative spoke to us and promised everything that we wanted to hear. We were told that they were one stop shopping. They provided everything for cleaners, electricians, carpenters, plumbers to painters. We did not need to hear anything else. The only problem was one single cleaner showed up and we were asked to provide names, numbers and quotes from the electricians, plumbers, carpenters and painters and to basically be the contractor. After 3 weeks....nothing had moved forward towards getting us back into our house. Not even the demolition of the kitchen where the fire started. At this time, a friend had suggested that we reach out to Limelite. Not only did Grant and his team get the ball rolling, they made us feel confident and hopeful about the process. The first company argued and challenged our insurance company where Limelite worked with them on our behalf to make the process smoother and faster. Grant and his team went above and beyond to make sure that we were as comfortable and as included as possible. When Limelite first met with us, it was in November during prime hunting season. It is nearly impossible to find any contractors or professionals in our area to work with us during this time of year. Grant and his team went above and beyond to do what they could to get us back into our house before the snow began, knowing that a camper with our 3 dogs was not ideal.
